A Whole Podcast Episode On Kinks & Fetishes

In the latest episode of It’s A Lot, Abbie is joined by sex therapist Georgia Grace also known as GSpot and fat activist, performer and “kinkster” Demon Derriere.

In the ep the trio delve into the world of kink, exploring its definitions, the differences between kink and fetish, and the importance of consent.

On the question of what the difference is between Kinks and Fetishes, Demon Derriere said:

“My definition [of kink] would be it’s something like out of the norm. It’s a fantasy or desire that’s not so straight and narrow that you want to explore. Kink is a desire. It’s something you want. Demon Derriere continued.

Whereas fetish is a need. You need to have during intimacy. That’s how I would describe it.”

And Georgia added, “a kink is also really subjective. So it’s called a kink. And if you can think like a kink in a piece of string. So anything the words use beyond the straight and narrow.

But yeah, like this fetish often, I’ll hear my clients will say that there’s such high sexual value placed on their fetish that they won’t feel arousal or they don’t necessarily want to have sex if the fetish is not present.

Listen to hear more as Abbie, GSpot and Demon Derriere discuss the complexities of kink shaming, the role of dungeons and play parties in learning about kink, and the need for education and understanding in the kink community.
