The Fake Heiress

Like Apple Cider Vinegar, Inventing Anna is another Netflix Original that took the internet by storm.

It’s based on Anna Delvey, the ‘fake heiress’ who swindled millions out of New York’s wealthy elite.

The Theranos Scandal

You probably know Elizabeth Holmes’ story from Hulu’s The Dropout

Miller had declared bankruptcy before the show began, but had opened secret bank accounts to hide the income from her newfound fame.

As they say… once a scammer, always a scammer!

The Lying Congressman

Who could forget the grip George Santos had on our timelines in 2023?

In his 11 months as a Congressman, Santos lied about his net worth, ethnicity, family history, education, criminal history, and personal life.

He was eventually indicted on multiple fraud-related charges, including theft of public funds and money laundering.
