In case you missed it, this week Triple J announced that for the very first time, they would be running a Hottest 100 countdown for ‘Like A Version’ cover performances.
Although there are over 800 covers to choose from, one song that will definitely not be included is Matt & Alex’s ‘Kiss From A Sandstorm’, which they performed during their final show.
“I did get a little bit angry about it,” Matt admitted in the latest episode of the All Day Breakfast podcast.
Take a listen below as Matt and Alex explained why they weren’t included:
Matt Okine and Alex Dyson serve up your daily omelette of delicious audio content, whenever you feel like eating it. Chunks of news, alongside finely sliced interviews and the occasional sprig of talkback are all chucked into a bowl of expertly whisked comedy, before being poured into the frying pan of your ears. Listen daily with your morning coffee or even your evening whisky.
