Wayne Bennett and Jason Demetriou have continued their ‘bromance’ ahead of Dolphins v South Sydney Rabbitohs.
It’s quite evident that there is still a lot of respect between the pair after their tenure together at Redfern but Adam Peacock, Danny Weilder and Michael Chammas on Footy Talk looked elsewhere for coaching beefs within the NRL!

Though there is one ‘beef’ that may have been burning for years.
It’s tension that many fans might have forgotten or realised at the time involving two current head coaches who used to work together in Sydney’s west.
‘It almost forced [him] out of coaching,’ said Michael Chammas.
‘He tried to quit twice when he was [his] assistant.’
But they also rewinded the tape to a classic shot from Nathan Brown to his Newcastle Knights predecessor Wayne Bennett back in 2018.
‘If he thought with his big head instead of his little head, it’s one of the great sledges of all time.’
