Footy Talk podcast’s very own Abbey Holmes believes it is time to tweak the Rising Star eligibility. Holmes is on the selection panel for this year’s Rising Star & All Australian awards.
With Harley Reid & Sam Darcy both copping bans over the weekend the Rising Star race has been blown wide open.
“Do you think the suspension should count in the Rising Star eligibility?”

“Do I think that the ‘fairest’ aspect needs to be there? Probably not,” Holmes said.
