Billy Walters joined Triple M Breakfast with Marto, Margaux & Dan and shared a funny yarn about his wedding late last year and best man Christian Welch.

Billy, Broncos hooker explained how Melbourne Storm enforcer, Walsh stitched up his father and coach Kevin Walters with the wedding bar tab.
“Christian Welch was my best man & MC,” started Walters.
“He had a bit of a joke that there was a nightclub at the hotel where we had our wedding.
“The nightclub is obviously where it all moved to after the reception and Christian made a little joke to drop Kevin’s room number in there as he was getting the first round.”
Though earlier in the night, obviously the father of the groom gets his own turn to do his speech.
“Kevin actually spoke and in his speech he said, I can’t tell how much of a good person he is by the great people he surrounds himself with.
“He spoke so highly of [Christian Welch] and all my mates and then they went to the night club and put $600 on [Kevin Walters’] room bill.”
