Shannon Hurn On His Decision To Retire From The AFL

After announcing his retirement from the AFL this morning, West Coast Eagle Shannon Hurn joins Embers and Katie to chat about his career and next steps.

LISTEN:

“Once you get to 30, you understand that each year could be your last…you always believe you’ve got good football in yourself,” Shannon said on Embers and Katie.

“The body just took longer to recover…so around the bye I pretty much, to myself, I was at belief it was going to be my last year.”

“You want to win and you want to play in a premiership…I’ve been very fortunate to be able to play in one.”
