Caleb Serong’s recent boot donation to a fan sparked a trend, but left his Fremantle team flat with him via Xav and Michelle for Breakfast.
“Since I did give my boots away the other week, there’s just been a whole can of worms open,” Caleb said via Xav and Michelle for Breakfast.
“There was originally probably a couple, like one or two signs around the grounds…and on the weekend I would have seen 10 plus and then there was another 40 signs, for other players, wanting boots.”
“The boys are flat with me, they’re like, “Mate it’s hard enough to get boots as it is.”
Xav pipes up, “Caleb’s lucky mate, he’s just getting asked for boots, I used to have women screaming their room numbers at me.”
Caleb also reflects on last night’s tribunal decision to rub him out for a week and what has gone wrong with the Dockers.
