Capel’s Most-Loved Family Event Is Back!

Triple M is proud to partner with Captivate Capel

Triple M Southwest are proud to support Capel’s most-loved and longest-running family event, Captivate Capel – and this year’s is bigger and better than ever!

Happening Saturday March 9, bring the whole family and enjoy delicious locally-produced food, chill out and dance to some great music, or get yourself a new outfit at the op shopping stall!

Billed as ‘A Festival For The Earth’, the outdoors event is hosted by The Sacred Earth Pantry who will host various fun zero waste workshops to help us Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Repurpose.

There’s also an Eco Wonders Parade, where you are invited to craft ‘Op Shop Chic’ outfits to become a walking masterpiece, or turn your old junk into a musical instrument to join the rhythm of the parade. The parade is led by Junkadelic, Formidable Vegetable Sound System and Paint Storm Phil – not to be missed!

Artistic types could bag a big cash prize by entering a sculpture or artwork created from recycled or repurposed materials. There’s an Emerging Artist award for Under 18s and a General Artist award for over 18s, both winners taking home $500 thanks to Bendigo Bank.

For entry forms and all information on Captivate Capel, returning Saturday March 9, 12pm-6pm at Erle Scott Reserve, Capel, visit https://www.capel.wa.gov.au/community/captivate-capel-2024.aspx

Captivate Capel is proudly supported by Triple M.
