Damian Barrett says the Bulldogs face internal battles following another elimination final loss under coach Luke Beveridge.
The Saturday Rub team believe the blowtorch will find its way to Beveridge with one year left on his coaching deal.
“It may well be a situation as Port Adelaide did, force Ken Hinkley and by extension force Luke Beveridge to prove that he is worthy of an extension,” Barrett said.
“When you’ve got a good coach, the danger is replacing them.”
The team argue the Doggies failed to receive a ‘pass mark’ this season.
“The gap between their best and worst is as big as anyone in the competition,” Jay Clark said.
