Blues superstar Charlie Curnow shared what it was like to gather with Carlton legends to celebrate the club’s 160th year anniversary – clipping his former teammate in the process.
“It was good to get people like that down, Eddie Betts was there, Dais were you there?” Curnow said on Triple M Breakfast with Rosie, Wil and Daisy.
Curnow said spending time with former greats of the club – such as four-time premiership player Bruce Doull – had the current players feeling privileged.
“We talk about aura, gee, he had a lot of that.”
In Round 22, Carlton players will don the blue-collared Heritage guernsey against Hawthorn at the MCG.
