Tom Browne has revealed the teams chasing Tom de Koning at season’s end, as the young ruckman comes out of contract at the Blues.
De Koning will start the season as Carlton’s number one ruckman, with incumbent Marc Pittonet left out of the Round 1 side.
Tom Browne says the 23-year-old will be one of the most lucrative signatures at season’s end, and revealed the three teams registering interest.
“St Kilda, Sydney and Geelong [are] heavily interested in de Koning.
The Cats could reunite Tom with premiership brother Sam in the hoops, but it could cost a lot to get him down the highway.
“He will command, de Koning, well north now of $800,000 plus per season.”
