Tom Browne has detailed the documents that Alastair Clarkson and Chris Fagan want access to before they are questioned in the Hawthorn racism investigation.
“Clarkson and Fagan at the moment want a fair hearing,” Tom Browne said.
“They have offered to participate with the independent investigator and the interview, but first off they want a series of documents.
“They want records regarding the welfare and support given to those players while they were at Hawthorn.”
Both coaches are yet to be interviewed as part of the investigation.
“Alastair Clarkson and Chris Fagan weren’t interviewed as part of that process, and that’s part of the criticism,” Tom Browne continued.
“Clarkson and Fagan want access to that information before they’re questioned.”
