Wallabies coach Joe Schmidt has announced his squad for the upcoming Tests against Wales and Georgia.

The 38-man roster features numerous Queensland Reds players, including Fraser McReight, Josh Nasser, Ryan Smith, Harry Wilson, Liam Wright, Tom Lynagh, Tate McDermott, and Josh Flook. Former Reds players Hamish Stewart and Filipo Daugunu are also part of the lineup.

New Zealand-born Joe Schmidt, former coach of the All Blacks and Ireland, took over as Wallabies coach in January, replacing Eddie Jones.

When the appointment was announced, former Wallaby and Triple M Breakfast with Marto, Margaux, and Dan, Greg ‘Marto’ Martin expressed some uncertainty about Schmidt’s potential success with the Wallabies, suggesting that it shouldn’t be another Kiwi.
