The first game of the AFL season kicked off last night, with Richmond and Carlton going head-to-head, only to leave 90,000 spectators in the MCG dissatisfied as the game ended in a late heart-wrenching draw.
With less than a minute on the clock, Carlton had a six-point advantage over Richmond, until Tom Lynch snatched his sixth mark and slotted kicked his third goal, ending in a draw.

Marto was enraged to why there are no tie-breakers in regular season AFL matches, but only in final games. Marto shared his brilliant ruling he’d like to see implemented so people aren’t disappointed again.
