Despite their State of Origin Game One win, the Maroons are feeling the pressure with Queensland forwards Tom Gilbert and Jai Arrow now being ruled out of the remainder of the State of Origin series due to injury.
Gilbert dislocated his shoulder in the first half of Queensland’s Game One win over NSW and will undergo surgery in the next coming days, leaving the Maroons and Dolphins without their star forward.
Gilbert joined Triple M Breakfast with Marto, Margaux and Dan to talk his injury and revealed who he wishes to take his spot for the remainder of the series.

“It’s a tough one because I’d love to see Felise (Kaufusi) back as a teammate. You know it’s a bit unfortunate he missed Game One, but he also missed Game Three last year with some real family issues which was quite serious and important to him…” said Gilbert.
“It’d be awesome to see him back there, but he hasn’t played in a few weeks. I think the spot’s still up for grabs.”
