Former Triple M breakfast host Greg “Fat Cat” Ritchie admitted to Triple M Breakfast with Marto, Margaux and Dan that he once got behind the mic with a bottle of rum on board.

The former test cricketer who was on-air as part of Triple M’s breakfast show in Brisbane between 2001 to 2004 is a notorious bad flyer.

Ritchie was questioned about the on-air incident this morning:

FIND OUT WHY:

“Let’s just say that I wasn’t at all nervous by the time I got to the airport.” said Ritchie.

“I think we were struck with lightning on the take off and I wasn’t the least bit worried. I got down there, had to go on at about three o’clock to do the lunch, can’t remember flying home even, but what a great morning on-air it must have been.”
