Andrew Dillon joined The Rush Hour with Gus, Jude & Wendell to discuss his new role of AFL CEO, as well as the league’s plan to help sort out footy in NSW.
“We’ve been investing in the AFL for many years” explains Dillon.
“I see New South Wales as a massive opportunity for the AFL, and I think we’ll continue to invest up there.”
“One of our biggest issues in New South Wales and Sydney in particular, is facilities for the kids, and men and women, boys and girls who want to play, so that’s where we’re really focusing a lot of our attention.”
“We’ll also be doing that by getting into schools and making sure that our game can be available for everyone in an accessible and affordable way.”
