Triple M Footy news breaker Jay Clark addressed rumours that Adelaide first round pick Daniel Curtin could go home to WA on the Rush Hour with Bernie, Blewey and Jars.
“I don’t think Adelaide are panicking just at this stage,” Jay said.
“I think they were eyes open that this sort of talk would come out, there could be homesickness issues.
“I think Harley Reid even said something similar.
“So I don’t think there’s a huge threat at this moment.”
Jay underlined that the Crows can’t afford to have the Curtin acquisition go wrong.
“Adelaide lose Fischer McAsey to retirement, a defender, not that long ago,” he said.
“So they really need for this to work, Daniel Curtin, but they’re not stressing out about it just at this stage.
“[The Crows are] confident he’ll be at the club for a long time to come.”
MORE FROM JAY CLARK:
Jay also discussed North Melbourne’s rumoured links to Port Brownlow Medallist Ollie Wines, Essendon stocking up for a trade raid, and more.
