Triple M’s own Tom Browne has secured a new job up in Sydney, and joined the boys on the Friday Huddle to explain why he’s making the switch.
Joining an investment bank in Sydney producing digital content, Tom explained how family is coming first for himself and his wife, Tara.
“I’ve got a beautiful young family, an amazing wife… Tara moved down to Melbourne for me and I’m looking forward to reciprocating.”
After Howie claimed Tom was earning close to $750,000 in his new role, he made sure to deflate the figure before signing off.
“Absolutely crazy.
“Tara’s parents live up there, we’ll be living with them to start with so use that as your reference point and work from there.”
Discussing whether he’d return to footy media in the future, Tom had no plans in mind any time soon.
“I will miss it, but I’m not sure I will necessarily be back.”
