Trent Cotchin confirmed on the Rush Hour with Billy & Daisy that he had a conversation with Dustin Martin about leaving the Tigers at the end of the season.
It was rumoured that Martin was tempted to follow former coach Damien Hardwick up to the Gold Coast Suns.
“There is always an element of you that loves the idea of the Gold Coast.”
“We had conversations around it, yeah.”
Cotchin said that Martin stayed because he valued being a 300 game, one club player.
