Jay Z has broken down the differences between Collingwood and Jack Ginnivan, and who really initiated the trade for the small forward.
“We just spoke to Graham Wright, Collingwood footy boss, just moments ago, and he was absolutely adamant they wanted to keep Jack Ginnivan, and it was Ginnivan that wanted to jump ship to Hawthorn,” Jay told The Rush Hour with JB And Billy.
However, Jay says it’s a different story in the Ginnivan camp.
“They are quite clear that it was Collingwood who was shopping him around to rivals, and that’s why the phone kept ringing.
“I sort of get the feeling around the Collingwood camp that they don’t seem to be crying into their Weet-Bix about the loss of Jack Ginnivan when they’ve got an upgrade in Lachie Schultz anyway.”
