Daisy Thomas has backed in the AFL’s decision to send Brayden Maynard to the tribunal, and supported the tribunal’s decision to find him not guilty for a collision with Angus Brayshaw on Thursday night.
“I do think that’s a real win for the game, the fact that you can still go out in a sport that’s combative, in a high pressure, high stakes game environment, you can still go out and have contact made,” Daisy said.
“That’s the essence of the game. It’s hard, it’s tough, that’s what we love… I have no issue that they went for it, they went and had a look.”
