Damian Barrett has FINALLY said something positive about his apparently beloved football team North Melbourne on today’s Midweek Rub.
The boys had gotten to the Fair Dinkum or Fugazi segment of the Midweek Rub, and Damo was presented with a question adapted from Joey’s opinion during the week.
“North won’t be on the bottom of the ladder for 10 years,” Rabs asked, in the segment which sees the boys given a statement to rate whether it’s Fair Dinkum (true) or Fugazi (false).
Damo initially tried to get out of answering the question.
“Can I park the answer to that until after round 21?” he asked.
Fortunately the boys wouldn’t allow that, and pressed him for answer.

After a pause that felt both brief and incredibly long, Damo finally relented.
“Fair dinkum,” he finally said — cue rapturous celebrations in the studio!
