Dale Thomas has revealed to the Midweek Rub that some Collingwood players took a bye-week trip to Bali – but it highlights Craig McRae’s unconventional genius as coach.
“This is the strength of [Craig McRae] and how much he’s willing to forgive and move on,” Daisy Thomas told the Midweek Rub.
“I’m pretty sure it wasn’t Jordy (de Goey),” he laughed.
MORE ON COLLINGWOOD:
Daisy also shared with the panel about how he sometimes would have his own in-season getaways during his playing days.
“I use to go to the Origin every mid-season bye,” he said.
“The middle week of Origin always fell on that same weekend… every Wednesday straight in off the track, straight to the weights room – which was my car – and straight to the airport!”
