Spida went out to Couran Cove yesterday to speak to the residents who are currently there with no power, gas and water. Flan, Ali and Spida tried to get Gold Coast Mayor Tom Tate on the show to discuss however he declined. He did do a talk on the issue saying, “you’ve got 5 bodies fighting against each other, which hasn’t happened anywhere else” then going on to say, “my heart bleeds for those people who are caught in the middle”.
The City of Gold Coast sent Triple M a statement that explains the situation from a council point of view.
