It’s 2016 and the Western Bulldogs have just won the premiership, and teammates Tom Liberatore and Luke Dahlhaus head over to Vietnam for an off-season getaway.
Little did many know, was that Dahlhaus and Libba were named as emergencies for the Vietnam Swans.
What came as even more of an amusing shock was Libba did end up pulling on the Swans’ guernsey and have a run around in the ruck – with Dahlhaus remaining on the sidelines.
Ahead of Marcus Bontempelli’s 200th game for the Bulldogs, Dahlhaus joined Dead Set Legends with Joey, Jay, Kath and Lehmo to chat about the “great human.”
But the team couldn’t help but ask exactly what happened on the infamous trip and why Dahlhaus didn’t join Libba on the field.
“I think I might have still been in bed actually,” Dahlhaus reveals.
