Jay Clark’s Thoughts On Potential MRO Findings From Melbourne Vs Carlton

The way dangerous tackles will be penalised is again in questioned following the match review panel clearing Adam Cerra and Rory Laird’s round 11 incidents.

The MRO will look at two incidents: Jack Viney’s dump tackle on Sam Walsh and James Harmes’ bump on Matt Cottrell.

Jay Clark says with the precedent set, Viney might get off while Harmes will probably miss a week.

Listen here:

“Jack Viney dump tackles Sam Walsh. Don’t know, think he might get off on this after the bar set by the tribunal,” Jay said on Dead Set Legends Melbourne.

“I think James Harmes will be missing for a match. He gets Matthew Cottrell high with a high bump.

“Unfortunately, Cottrell fumbles, he stays down. Probably Harmes thought he would pick the ball up and stand up straight.”
