Central Queensland Australian Idol Contestant Denvah Baker-Moller Joins Anthony & Pinky

Central Queensland has hit the national big stage this year with Rockingham’s own Denvah Baker-Moller on the latest edition of Australian Idol, and she joined Anthony & Pinky to chat all about it.

AUSTRALIAN IDOL CONTESTANT DENVAH BAKER-MOLLER WITH ANTHONY & PINKY:

“Honestly it was weird to see my face on TV,” Denvah told Anthony & Pinky.

“I don’t like looking at myself at the best so, it was really really wild is the only way I can describe it.

“But I was definitely pleasantly surprised by the response.”

Denvah got through to the next round and explained what happened next.

“Once they get two guesses, three guesses… they have to go back in and they might get a golden ticket, they might not,” she said.

“Getting a golden ticket gets you through to the top 30, and I was blessed enough to get a golden ticket!

“Top 30 baby!”

Denvah went on to explain how her music career has blossomed from country festivals — “they still have my heart” — to the top 30 of Australian Idol.

Denvah isn’t CQ’s only presence on Australian Idol this year, however, with Trent Richardson making his way to the national stage from a camel farm in Emu Park.

Richardson also spoke to Anthony & Pinky earlier after making it through himself.
