At the pinnacle of an athletic career, worrying about your privates being exposed shouldn’t be top of mind. Yet, that’s the issue surrounding the new Team USA Women’s track and field kit for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
The Nike design was met with criticism this week, with athletes and supporters labelling the women’s uniform as “sexist” and revealing.
One X user, @_A__Stranger, wrote, “Men can worry about their athletic performance while women have to worry about chaffing, their genitals not falling out and getting a bikini wax. Definitely equal opportunities huh.”
