One of the rugby league’s most exciting forwards, Corey Horsbrugh, has a reputation for seeing red the same colour of his fiery hair.
So to get the Raiders enforcer to chill, his club coach Ricky Stuart got in touch with the ‘Raging Bull’ Gorden Tallis to tell his young firebrand how to cool his jets when the blood starts to boil.
Tallis was known for his aggressive style of play that attracted plenty of attention from the referee and the judiciary.
But he’s since calmed and passed on what he learned over his illustrious career to Horsbrugh, who makes his State of Origin debut for Queensland tonight.
“Red heads,” Tallis said. “Let’s be honest.
“They’re a bit mad.”
