Wendell Sailor responded to ARL Commission Chairman Peter V’landys stating that ‘threats to boycott the Dally M’s are selfish.’
Speaking on The Rush Hour with Gus, Jude & Wendell, Sailor could see where the players are coming from as there is talk the players will avoid NRL’s major awards ceremony, the Dally M’s.

‘I understand Peter,’ said Sailor.
‘He has his agenda with the NRL.
‘[Though] I understand if the players want to do this.’
Asked if he thought players and fans really cared about Rugby League’s night of nights Dell disagreed.
