Former Demons captain Nathan Jones empathises with James Sicily, who’s been suspended for laying a tackle on Brisbane’s Hugh McLuggage.
McLuggage left the ground concussed after colliding with Sicily during Saturday afternoon’s clash at the MCG. Sicily was referred directly to the MRO for rough conduct, and has since been handed a 3 week suspension.
Nathan Jones joined Abbey Holmes on the Footy Talk podcast and discussed the outcome, saying “I can’t see how they’re making these decisions”.
