Peter Helliar Tells The Story Of Being Strauchanie For Josh Daicos’ 14th Birthday

Collingwood superfan Peter Helliar told Triple M’s Marty Sheargold Show about his most memorable moment, breaking into character as Bryan Strauchan for as requested by Peter Daicos.

“He [Peter Daicos] rang me 10 years ago and said ‘my son Josh is turning 14, do you mind if Strauchanie comes over and does a tight five'”.

“Imagine the surreal nature of me going to Peter Daicos house, getting changed as myself into a Collingwood player!”

“I wasn’t sure what to do in there, so I stole a jumper and left.”
