Sydney Roosters star Brandon Smith shared with the crew on The Rush Hour with Gus, Jude & Wendell on their Hero, Highlight & Hardship podcast about leaving Melbourne Storm.

A premiership hero down in Victoria, Smith left Melbourne for the bright lights of Sydney to link up with the Bondi-based side.
Though, Smith explained how hard it was to leave and that the Storm will always be in his heart.
“It was the hardest decision,” said Smith
“It was based on what I felt in my heart that I needed to do for my career.”
Explaining that he loves where he’s at now and working under Trent Robinson, Smith still shared his sentiments on the Storm.
“I still have the love and respect [from Storm] and I know that the club still knows that I love them respect them.
“I wish I could tell you how much I love the club.”
