Steve Johnson revealed to the Sunday Rub that he waited an entire off-season to get back at Sam Mitchell for an incident the year before, after discussing Toby Greene’s hit on Brodie Kemp.
“I got Sam Mitchell one day, that was worth every cent…”
“He got me one day and I never forgot it. Waited until the next opportunity, hospital handball to Mitchell – bang!”
It comes after Johnson downplayed the Greene hit on Saturday night, which resulted in a fine for the Giants skipper.
“It’s like tackling, sometimes you get hit in the wrong spot.”
