There has been much debate about the captaincy at the Crows for 2023 with many suggesting it is time for Rory Sloane to step down.
On Roo, Ditts & Loz for breakfast, Ditts asks Roo about how the captain choosing process typically works for AFL teams.
Mark ‘Roo’ Ricciuto recalls his experience from his time at the Adelaide Crows (1993-2007), revealing that the decision making process was often brutal.
“They wouldn’t do it now, they’d be too frightened of upsetting each other,” Roo said.
Last year, Ditts had some mail on WHO might become captain if Rory Sloane steps down.
