Blues legend Aaron Woods has torn shreds off a newly rumoured change to the iconic kick-off aimed to reduce the impact of collisions.
“This is one of the dumbest decisions ever if it comes through.” said Woods on Triple M’s The Rush Hour.

The proposed rule change would grant the receiving team a 7 tackle set if the ball lands between the 20 metre line and the dead ball line, incentivising shorter kick offs.
