ARL chairman Peter V’landys joined Triple M’s Sunday Sin Bin after a big week in NRL news.
The stalemate between the NRL and the RLPA finally came to and end, with both sides reaching an in principle agreement.
“It was very important that we could all be on the same page so we could grow the game” said V’landys
“The players are a valuable partner and our greatest asset”
The NRL also announced that they’ll be taking the game to Las Vegas in 2024 and beyond.
“Las Vegas is the entertainment city of the world…I think you’ve going to get between 15 to 20 thousand Australians there.”
A 5 year deal has been put in place to play games at Allegiant Stadium, home of the NFL’s Las Vegas Raiders.
