MG Reacts To The NSW Blues Losing The State Of Origin Opener & The Joseph Sua’ali’i Send Off

Triple M’s Mark Geyer has weighed in on the NSW Blues record loss to the Queensland Maroons in the 2024 Origin opener.

“It’s hard to win a club game with 12-men, it’s impossible to win an Origin game with 12-men”.

LISTEN BELOW:

The entire series was flipped on its head after just seven minutes when Joseph Suaali’i was sent from the field for a hit on Reece Walsh.

The 21-year-old become the first Origin debutant to be sent off and is facing up to 4 weeks on the sidelines for the incident.

The Blues face an almighty challenge to win the Origin shield needing a victory in Melbourne to send the game to a decider at Suncorp Stadium, a venue where the Blues have only won two previous deciders with the last coming nearly 20-years ago in 2005.
