Speaking on Footy Talk The Journos Show, both Weidler & Chammas blasted the rumours of both parties butting heads over team selections, and then the questionable text message leaks and the coverage that soon followed.
“For people to be spreading stuff via text messages and then people picking it up in the media or social media and writing it, it’s just crap!” exclaimed Weidler.
“Gus does have an opinion though,” added Chammas.
“He’s close to Ciraldo, he would bounce ideas of [him] but he isn’t picking the team.”
“Gus has his views, Ciraldo has his views,” said Weidler.
“Ciraldo though, is the coach.
“There a plenty of people out there who would like a split between Ciraldo and Gus.
“And that’s why these things get spread.”
