Supercoach Wayne Bennett has confirmed the Australian Rugby League Commission (ARLC) has approached him about taking on Papua New Guinea’s incoming NRL team in 2028.
Dolphins Prop Josh Kerr recalled to Triple M Breakfast with Marto, Margaux and Dan when Bennett was having meetings at the end of last year about becoming coach.
“I remember when they were first coming into it, they were having a meeting about being a coach there. I was asking him, ‘What do you think?'” said Kerr.
