Wests Tigers have reportedly parted ways with trusted Tim Sheens ally David Furner.

The assistant coach had been promised a job by current-coach Benji Marshall but club management have decided to make the call.

“It’s been a disappointing year, another one for the Tigers,” said Read.

“David Furner was an ally of Tim and had another year at the club.”

And Read further explained how this is just another part to a much bigger problem.

“[I have a] concern at the running of the club,” said Read.

“We saw the signs at the end of the year… Fiasco Pascoe – in reference to CEO Justin Pascoe.

“It’s a decade of disappointment really, they need to find a way out that hole.”
