Brent Read With Raymond Faitala-Mariner Update | “I Don’t Think He’ll Be There For That Long”

Brent Read joined The Rush Hour with Gus, Jude & Wendell to provide the latest on Raymond Faitala-Mariner and the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs.

LISTEN HERE:

The ex-captain has been in a spotty situation after being told to look elsewhere to resume his NRL career, yet hasn’t been able to find a new home.

Initially, Faitala-Mariner was told not to come too training, but the Dogs have had to take a step back because of the letter of the law.

“The issue is that clubs got to allow players to train,” said Ready.

“You cannot prevent a guy under contract from training, you can’t tell him he’s got to stay away.

“He has to be back in training but I don’t think he’ll be there for that long.”
