Brent Read gave more insight on the breaking news coming out of New Zealand Warriors camp as start forward Addin Fonua-Blake has been dropped from this weekend’s clash against the Dolphins.
LISTEN HERE:
Joining The Rush Hour with Gus, Jude & Wendell, Ready stated that it all stemmed from the club’s massive 22-20 victory over three-time reigning premiers Penrith Panthers at Magic Round.
“Warriors are saying that he wasn’t with the team for the post match review and the dressing room celebrations after the game,” said Ready.
“They’ve said that it doesn’t meet team standards.”
With Fonua-Blake already signed on with the Cronulla Sharks for next season, Ready believes that possibly mentally, the enforcer has half a mind on his next move.
“Gives me the impression that he’s checked out already.”
