At least 3 Sydney NRL clubs are set to begin negotiations with ‘free agent’ and Storm superstar Ryan Papenhuyzen come Friday November 1.
The Daily Telegraph’s David Riccio revealed all on Wednesday’s edition of Mick & MG In The Morning.
Reports on Monday suggested the Storm have tabled a contract extension to Papenhuyzen but it was well below his current value.
The Storm reportedly offered the fullback a $750,000 per season extension but Papenhuyzen could easily command at least $1 million per season on the open market.
The 2020 Storm Premiership winner is officially allowed to negotiate with rival clubs from Friday.
