Brent Read slams Phil Gould – ‘The world’s changed and you got to move with it’

Brent Read joined the Rush Hour with Gus, Jude & Wendell to discuss the current concussion debate circling the rugby league world.

But Read leapt to the defence of the current system implemented by the NRL to protect players from long term head issues.

‘I was a bit taken aback,’ said Read.

‘The world’s changed and you got to move with it.

‘We might long for the old days, the contact and all that sort of stuff but the game and society has moved beyond that.’
