The Tigers on Sunday afternoon slumped to an 0-2 start after falling short against a Newcastle side without superstar Kalyn Ponga for most of the game, while the Knights also lost Jacob Saifiti to a send-off in the second half.

“You would be [concerned],” Tallis said on LiSTNR’s Footy Talk League Podcast.

Tallis then joked: “They probably did sleep like a baby last night. Up at 12am, 2am, 4am and 6am, just worrying.”

“It is worrying… It’s just not quite there, is it?

“You saw yesterday, it doesn’t look connected in defence, it doesn’t look connected in attack.”
