“Never Heard More Crap In My Life”: Haddin Hits Back At Atherton Column

Former Australia wicketkeeper Brad Haddin has strongly denied that he was warned by England players about firing up Ben Stokes the allrounder’s debut in 2013 in a column by Michael Atherton.

In his column for The Times celebrating Stokes’ 100th Test match, Atherton writes Jimmy Anderson and Matt Prior told Haddin not to mess with “nutter” Stokes, which Haddin laughed off on the Willow Talk Cricket Podcast.

LISTEN TO BRAD HADDIN’S RESPONSE ON WILLOW TALK BELOW:

“What, be intimidated by Ben Stokes?” Haddin says on Willow Talk.

“What was he gonna do?

“Mate, he was a kid playing a Test match.

“They didn’t get their facts right there.”
