Former Australia wicketkeeper Brad Haddin has strongly denied that he was warned by England players about firing up Ben Stokes the allrounder’s debut in 2013 in a column by Michael Atherton.
In his column for The Times celebrating Stokes’ 100th Test match, Atherton writes Jimmy Anderson and Matt Prior told Haddin not to mess with “nutter” Stokes, which Haddin laughed off on the Willow Talk Cricket Podcast.
“What, be intimidated by Ben Stokes?” Haddin says on Willow Talk.
