Parramatta Eels half Mitchell Moses isn’t a fan of the NRL Bunker and called for a return to the 2 referees system.
Speaking on Triple M’s Saturday Scrum, Moses felt strongly that the current system needs an overhaul.
“I’m not for it…in play I think 2 refs on field and no bunker.” said Moses
“I just think it[the game] flows more…we’re going back 2 sets later to give a penalty, I’m just not for it.”
“It just slows down the game, it’s taken a bit of fatigue out of the game.”
The NRL ditched the 2 referee system back in 2020, several head coaches have been in favour of its return including Ricky Stuart and Craig Bellamy.
